The concierge is busy helping other guests, but Andolini can’t help but sneak glances from time to time and park in the lobby refusing to go up to his room without talking to the concierge first. After a few minutes of waiting, Andolini notices that the concierge is putting his things away behind the counter while he is giving his clients information.
